Yesterday I received an email from Alexi Giannoulias promoting Jumo, the social network for social good founded about a year ago by Chris Hughes, co-founder of Facebook and director of online organizing for Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign.
Jumo connects individuals to the issues and organizations they care about, from Water.org or Habitat for Humanity to the Greater Chicago Food Depository (click on each organization to view its Jumo page). Recently launched to great response, Jumo makes it easy for people to find, follow and support the causes important to them.
I’d like to hear from organizations and individuals that have found their way to Jumo already. How’s it working for you? Let me know.
P.S. Belated congratulations to Chris on his recent engagement to Sean Eldridge, political director for Freedom To Marry.
